We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer / Quality Executive to join our team! In this role, you'll play an important part in maintaining quality standards, improving work processes, and ensuring our project activities meet client expectations and industry requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Drive Quality Excellence

• Develop and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and applicable industry standards.
• Prepare quality plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, prevent defects, and strengthen overall quality performance.
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits to ensure ongoing compliance.

2. Be on the Ground & Ensure Quality

• Carry out site or production inspections to ensure materials, workmanship, and completed works meet project specifications.
• Verify inspection and testing activities in accordance with approved drawings, technical requirements, and quality standards.
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), investigate root causes, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor testing and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project quality requirements.

3. Keep Projects on Track with Proper Documentation

• Maintain accurate QA/QC records, inspection reports, test results, calibration certificates, and material certifications.
• Coordinate Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and other quality submissions.
• Prepare regular quality reports and provide updates on quality performance to management and clients.
• Work closely with project teams and subcontractors to ensure quality documentation is completed on time.

4. Work with Project Teams & Stakeholders

• Collaborate with site personnel, subcontractors, consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor subcontractors' quality performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Support quality briefings, toolbox meetings, project kick-off meetings, and staff training.
• Ensure project activities comply with relevant standards and requirements, including ISO, ASTM, JKR, CIDB, DOSH, and other applicable regulations.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction, electrical, engineering, or a related industry.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, QMS implementation, internal audits, and quality improvement tools such as 5 Whys and Fishbone Analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
• A proactive team player who pays attention to detail and takes ownership of quality issues.

Pay: RM4,100.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
