Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Full-stack Developer to join our client's (Private Bank) digital banking technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing web applications that support digital banking services.

This position focuses primarily on front-end development using Angular and TypeScript, with additional responsibilities in back-end development using Java and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on Angular development experience and the ability to contribute throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular and TypeScript, ensuring responsive interfaces, reusable components, and maintainable code.

• Develop and enhance back-end services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture.

• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.

• Participate in solution design, implementation, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.

• Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure application reliability, performance and code quality.

• Troubleshoot application defects, build failures, deployment issues and runtime problems independently.

• Support application deployments and operational activities using CI/CD pipelines and containerisation technologies.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers and other stakeholders in an Agile development environment.

• Apply appropriate software design patterns and architectural principles to improve application maintainability, scalability and security.

• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly, validating generated code for accuracy, quality and security.

Job Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience in Angular and TypeScript is mandatory.

• Proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework.

• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL.

• Familiarity with Git-based version control systems, preferably GitLab.

• Working knowledge of Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.

• Understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming and application architecture.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks, such as Jest for Angular and JUnit, Mockito or WireMock for Java applications.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, application deployment and troubleshooting build or runtime issues.

• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and secure software development practices.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in banking, financial services or other regulated industries.

• Experience developing enterprise-scale web applications and microservices.

• Exposure to application security, performance optimisation and production support.
