Our client, a global insurer's regional office, is seeking a GI Risk/Actuarial professional to join as an Assistant Manager/Manager in the Risk Management team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute regional quantitative risk management activities: Standard Capital Modelling, solvency and financial risk monitoring, stress testing, and ORSA for non-life BUs
• Support effective risk transfer and capital efficiency: Perform and/or review reinsurance pricing analyses, inward group treaty assessments, and reinsurance optimisation projects
• Prepare risk reports, governance papers, and presentation materials for management committees
• Build and maintain strong relationships with BUs, Group Office, and internal and external stakeholders (including brokers and consultants): Regional forums, Regional Risk Conferences, risk management initiatives etc.

Critical requirements

• 5+ years of experience in general insurance or other relevant risk/actuarial roles
• Strong progression with Actuarial exams - Qualified or near-qualified
• Strong programming skills - Excel, SAS, Python, R etc.
• Proven experience in the following is highly advantageous: Capital Modelling, Remetrica, Reinsurance pricing, RBC requirements
