Sales / Application Engineer (Medical Devices, Wire & Cable Industry)

Job Summary

Join a dynamic team as a Sales / Application Engineer supporting customers in medical device, wire & cable, and interconnect solutions industries by delivering technical advice, product recommendations, and driving business development.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell medical device components, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, connectors, and related products to meet customer needs
• Provide technical support and application advice to customers to ensure optimal product use and satisfaction
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to drive sales growth
• Prepare accurate quotations, product presentations, and technical documentation to support sales and customer understanding
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to align project requirements and ensure timely delivery
• Support product development, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance activities as applicable
• Participate in customer visits, exhibitions, and business development activities to expand market presence

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Biomedical, Manufacturing, or related disciplines)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in the medical device industry, wire & cable industry, or electronics manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of cable assemblies, connectors, interconnect solutions, or medical accessories
• Sales Engineer or technical sales experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers effectively
• Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and able to work independently
