Harneys Hiring! Full Time Junior Associate-Paralegal in - Ricebowl

We are hiring for a 12-month contract in the Transactional Department in our Singapore office.

Harneys is looking for a Junior Associate or an experienced Paralegal to join the Singapore Transactional team.

You will work on a varied portfolio of banking, corporate, funds, regulatory and private wealth matters for clients with interests in the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Anguilla and Bermuda and gain hands-on experience working on legal documentation. You will be part of a collegiate, cross-border team and will work closely with colleagues across the Harneys network.

What you will do:

• Support transactional matters from file opening through to closing and post-closing
• Assist with research, drafting and matter administration
• Manage know-your-customer and customer due diligence checks, conditions precedent checklists, execution packs and fund filings
• Liaise with registered agents and other counterparties
• Build a strong working knowledge of offshore legal markets

What we are looking for:

• Junior Associate: Singapore or overseas (common law) qualified, newly qualified to one year’s transactional experience
• or Experienced Paralegal: three to five years’ relevant experience in a transactional or corporate practice
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and clear written communication
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Interest in offshore work and comfort with technology and AI-enabled workflows
• Eligible to work in Singapore
