Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid Business Development Executive role based in Subang Jaya, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Business Development Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, generate qualified leads, and build a robust sales pipeline within the foodservice segment. The role involves managing and growing key accounts, conducting regular customer meetings, and providing product and solution recommendations that address customer needs. The individual will prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms within guidelines, and collaborate closely with marketing, technical, and supply chain teams to support customer activation and ensure service excellence. Day-to-day responsibilities also include market research, competitor monitoring, accurate sales reporting, and participation in industry events to strengthen brand visibility and customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong New Business Development and Lead Generation skills, with the ability to identify prospects and convert opportunities into sustainable revenue.
• Lead and manage Central Distributor’s Sales Team.
• Execute Trade plans and manage Food Service Key Accounts
• Manage distributor sell in forecast.
• Candidates should possess solid Business and Account Management skills to manage pipelines, nurture long-term customer relationships, and deliver growth targets.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal capabilities for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
• Prior experience in B2B sales, preferably within foodservice, FMCG, or related industries, is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and basic data analysis to support forecasting and reporting.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
