We are currently interested in connecting with experienced Commodities & Energy Trading Legal Consultant to join the Vario hub in Singapore.

As part of our ongoing talent mapping efforts, we are seeing increasing market demand for legal professionals with experience supporting commodity trading, energy and renewable energy businesses. While this is NOT an immediate mandate, we would welcome conversations with consultants who possess relevant experience and may be interested in future consulting opportunities.

The ideal consultant will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Advising commodity trading and energy businesses on commercial, trading and operational legal matters.

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commodity sale and purchase, LNG, supply, offtake, transportation, storage and other commercial agreements.

• Supporting LNG, natural gas, power, oil, petrochemicals or broader energy trading activities.

• Experience gained within commodity trading houses, energy companies, utilities or other trading-focused organizations.

• Exposure to energy transition, renewables, carbon markets or sustainability-related initiatives would be beneficial.

To join our hub, you will need to demonstrate the following:

• Qualified lawyer with 6 - 15 years' PQE.

• Solid experience gained either in private practice or in-house.

• Ability to work independently and provide practical, business-focused legal advice.

• Adaptable, collaborative and confident operating within fast-paced environments.

• Interest in undertaking flexible consulting assignments as opportunities arise.
