Responsibilities

• Documentation and compliance: Prepare pre- and post-shipment documents to customer requirements (commercial invoice, packing list, L/C, Certificate of Origin, importing-country certification, Customs and insurance declarations). Keep up with trade regulations, and identify and reduce compliance risks.
• Coordination: Work with shipping, logistics and ICS teams, and with customers and external parties, to resolve issues and discrepancies.
• Records: Keep accurate digital and physical export records, ready for external auditor vouching.
• Process improvement: Review export documentation workflows, streamline them with IT, logistics and ICS, and set KPIs.
• Training: Train and mentor shipping staff on documentation and compliance, and help develop policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or professional certification
• 5+ years in export documentation or a related field
• Strong knowledge of export regulations and compliance, and proficiency in export documentation systems
• Skills: communication, negotiation, organisation, attention to detail and problem-solving
