We are looking for a FAIR / Quality Technician to join our Quality team in Malaysia and support the quality of parts, materials, and services throughout the manufacturing process. In this role, you will support Quality Engineers in resolving production quality issues, review customer and quality documentation, and carry out inspections and testing to identify and address non-conformances. This is a great opportunity to develop your quality assurance skills and gain hands-on experience in manufacturing and customer quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support Quality Engineers in investigating and resolving quality issues within production.
• Inspect parts, materials, and services to ensure they meet required quality standards.
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and inspection reports to verify requirements.
• Review FAIR documentation to ensure it meets customer requirements and applicable standards.
• Carry out relevant inspections and testing throughout the manufacturing process.
• Identify and report non-conformance issues and support corrective actions where required.
• Review quality complaints and problem reports to help identify the root cause of issues.
• Record and report quality data accurately and ensure quality procedures are followed.
• Identify opportunities to improve FAIR and production quality processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a FAIR Technician, Quality Technician, or in a similar quality-related role.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical drawings and quality documentation.
• Good understanding of inspection, testing, and quality control processes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Good organizational and reporting skills, including the ability to collect and analyse quality data.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage assigned tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with Quality, Production, and other teams.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, or aerospace-related environment.
• Familiarity with FAIR requirements and customer quality standards.
• Experience with quality management systems and corrective action processes.
