Key Responsibilities Barista Duties

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to hospital standards and customer preferences.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure product quality and consistency at all times.
• Take and process customer orders accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain knowledge of daily menu offerings and seasonal beverages.

Food Service Steward Duties

• Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing food and beverage supplies.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, surfaces, and service areas following health department standards.
• Remove waste and follow proper procedures for recycling and disposal.
• Assist in basic food prep or plating as needed under supervision.
• Support the tray line or meal service team as directed, including delivering snacks or beverages to patient areas (if applicable).

Customer Service

• Greet all customers (patients, staff, visitors) warmly and professionally.
• Provide prompt, courteous service in a fast-paced environment.
• Handle customer concerns or escalate them appropriately to supervisors.
• Ensure café and service areas are clean, welcoming, and well-stocked at all times.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow hospital food safety, hygiene, and infection control policies.
• Adhere to dietary restrictions and labeling requirements as directed.
• Participate in regular training related to food handling and safety procedures.
• Wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
