As a Cloud Deployment Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficiency, security, and scalability. You will have the opportunity work on variety of key tasks that are essential for our cloud operations, including:

• Cloud Infrastructure Deployment: Assist in deploying cloud infrastructure such as virtual machines, storage, networking components, and other cloud services.
• Configuration Management: Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure according to organizational and project requirements.
• Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor cloud resources, performance, and usage to ensure efficient and optimal utilization.
• Security & Compliance: Support cloud security requirements, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), network security, and access controls.
• Budget & Cost Tracking: Monitor cloud credit and budget utilization, and prepare weekly reports on remaining cloud credits and usage.
• Cloud Cost Estimation: Prepare cloud costing sheets based on project requirements, including estimating the required SKU specifications, unit pricing, and overall cloud costs.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, including configuration, connectivity, and performance-related problems.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, changes, and operational activities.
• User Support: Provide support to internal teams and users for cloud-related issues and infrastructure requirements.
• Learning & Development: Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies, tools, and best practices through ongoing learning and training opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or a related field.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), networking, storage, and virtualization. Familiarity with cloud platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with operating systems (Linux/Unix, Windows), networking basics, and scripting (Python, Bash). Knowledge of cloud automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is an advantage.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, especially in diagnosing and resolving cloud infrastructure-related issues.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with team members and provide support to end-users.
• Adaptability: Eagerness to learn new cloud technologies and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment.
• Certifications: Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals) are a plus but not required.
• Mandarin Proficiency: Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin is required for communication and coordination with vendors in China.
