A large-scale organization is looking for a Data Engineering Director to join their team.

Your new role

As Data Engineering Director, you will:

• Define and drive the enterprise AI-ready data strategy, architecture, and roadmap.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across Data Engineering, Knowledge Engineering, AI Governance, and Platform Engineering.
• Build reusable AI data products, semantic models, knowledge graphs, and enterprise data foundations.
• Architect and scale RAG, vector search, context engineering, retrieval systems, and agent memory capabilities.
• Establish enterprise standards for data quality, governance, security, privacy, and Responsible AI.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to deliver scalable, production-grade AI data platforms.

What you’ll need to succeed

• 15+ years of leadership experience in Data Engineering, AI, ML, or Software Engineering.
• Deep expertise in AI-ready data platforms, knowledge graphs, semantic modeling, RAG, and vector databases.
• Proven success delivering enterprise-scale data and AI transformation programs.
• Strong hands-on experience building cloud-native data platforms and large-scale data products.
• Familiar with complex enterprise ecosystems, governance frameworks, and platform operating models.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive AI and data strategy aligned to business goals.
