  • Track production performance against delivery schedules and take action when delays or capacity constraints arise.
  • Ensure manufacturing activities comply with applicable workplace safety requirements and internal operating procedures.
  • Train, supervise and develop production personnel to maintain operational standards and team performance.
  • Prepare production reports and provide regular updates on output, quality, efficiency and delivery performance.
  • Support the introduction of new products, manufacturing processes and engineering changes into production.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Precision Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production operations, preferably within precision engineering or metal component manufacturing.
  • Previous experience supervising production teams in a factory or industrial environment.
  • Good understanding of CNC machining, metal fabrication, machining processes or precision component manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, technical specifications and production documentation.
