Job Summary:

• Lead the development and delivery of Hong Kong’s inward investment priorities, increasing foreign direct investment and capital investment into the UK.
• Build and manage senior relationships with priority investors, intermediaries and business partners, while supporting sector teams to develop and progress investment projects.
• Own selected cross-sector and non-sector-specific investor accounts and lead high-value opportunities from initial engagement through to delivery.
• Use sound judgement to interpret market intelligence, investment data and analysis generated by colleagues, CRM systems and AI-assisted tools, translating insight into priorities, stakeholder plans and investment opportunities.
• Maintain oversight of Hong Kong’s investment pipeline and collateral, coordinate responses to UK headquarters, and strengthen investment capability across sector teams.
• Lead priority investment projects, senior visits and investor-facing events, setting clear objectives and ensuring effective delivery and follow-up.

Requirements:

• An undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, international trade or another relevant field, together with at least six years’ relevant experience in investment, business development, financial or professional services, consulting or investor relationship management; or equivalent relevant experience without a degree.
• Strong commercial judgement, analytical ability and experience developing or progressing complex opportunities.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
• Organised, collaborative and able to lead multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, international environment.
