Role Description The Director of AI Applications is a full-time, hybrid role based in Singapore, with flexibility for partial work from home. This position leads the strategy, design, and implementation of AI solutions that optimize workforce management and facility operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing AI product roadmaps, guiding data science and engineering teams, and ensuring solutions integrate effectively with existing platforms and client environments. The director collaborates with operations, sales, and client success teams to identify business problems, prioritize use cases, and translate requirements into scalable AI applications. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, managing vendor and technology partnerships, ensuring ethical and compliant AI practices, and mentoring team members to build strong AI capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in AI and data disciplines, such as machine learning, applied AI solution design, data analysis, and model evaluation.
• Experience in software and platform development, including product management, solution architecture, system integration, and lifecycle management.
• Background in operations and process optimization, including workflow design, performance measurement, and continuous improvement in labor-intensive environments.
• Leadership capabilities in managing cross-functional teams, stakeholder communication, strategic planning, and decision-making at senior levels.
• Ability to collaborate with clients and internal business units, translate operational challenges into technical solutions, and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with AI ethics, data governance, security, and regulatory considerations relevant to workforce and facility management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
• Prior experience leading AI or digital transformation initiatives in technology, operations, or facilities-related industries is highly beneficial.
