Job Description

Requirements

  • Proven kitchen cooking experience is required.

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or experienced Chef is an advantage.

  • Experience in a fine dining, Japanese or sushi restaurant is an added advantage.

  • Good knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.

  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

  • Responsible, disciplined and team-oriented.

  • Strong attention to food quality, cleanliness and presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.

  • Prepare and cook food according to the restaurant’s standards.

  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation and quality.

  • Assist with menu preparation and kitchen coordination.

  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards.

  • Monitor kitchen stock and ensure ingredients are properly handled.

  • Support and guide kitchen team members when required.
