JOB SUMMARY

Assist superior on operation activities and monitor dally operations for Northport and Southpoint vessels. Willing and able to work shifts.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
I. Carry out any duties as per standard operational procedure (SOP)/ work Instruction (WI) outlined by department.

II. Organise and monitor the working schedule in terms of works and discipline. To ensure adherence will contribute to smooth and safe operations activities that meet goals and objectives of the organization.

Ⅲ. Monitor the receiving or discharging cargo activities and ensure compliance with the guidelines and procedures set by the management.

iv. Generate the Gate Pass document based on Integrated Import documents, (IID) for cargo which will be delivered to outside port areas.

V. Provide the Cargo Request Chit and Internal Movement Tally sheets for export cargo which will be loaded onto vessel.

vi. Ensure the receiving and storing of import or export cargo at warehouse and open yard.

vil. Ensure the preparation and maintenance of records and documents (data key-In) In data system for every 4 hours (half shift and ending shift) respectively relating to activities and services (work tonnage) In line with set standards and requirements.

vill. Carry out any other duties as assigned by the superior and supervisor. To assist them in clients servicing by liaising and maintaining close relations with forwarding agents, freight forwarders and shipping agents to optimise customer satisfaction.

Ix. Responsible for any orders Issued by supervisor at wharves, warehouse or yard once assigned to the work place. Undertakes the planning and control of labours, stevedore and drivers at wharf.

X. Ensure the real time readiness of compatible and rellable gears supplled at operation site.

xi. Ensure HSE compliance at work place which will enhance smooth cargo operation handling.

xil. Responsible for the activities at wharves, warehouse and open yard.

xill. Responsible for export cargo and obtain the permit from OGA's and declaration Custom based on Integrated Shipping Documents, (ISD).

xiv. Responsible for the effective functioning of the cargo verification in their working points. If there are any damages or lost of cargo from storage area, it must be reported to executive and supervisor.

XV. Investigate and monitor all delays caused by the labours, stevedore and drivers in shuttling cargo to/from the wharves and to take remedial actions.

xvl. Investigate and report accidents / Incidents which Is Involving property, staff and members of public to the management.

xvii. Responsible on welghbridge operations for dry bulk cargo in Dry Bulk Terminal Northport and Southpoint.

xvill. Inforce all safety procedure and policies being regulated and carried out accordingly In the Company's premises.

xix. Ensure all safety standard operational procedures are carried out. Report to superior for any unsafe areas / activities observed in the operations area.

Education

-Candidate must hold a minimum SKM Level 3 or Diploma qualification.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
