WE’RE HIRING | SENIOR SEO SPECIALIST

We are looking for a highly experienced and commercially driven Senior SEO Specialist to lead organic search growth across international markets.

This is more than a traditional SEO execution role. We need a strategic SEO professional who can independently identify complex SEO challenges, develop growth strategies, collaborate with developers and external agencies, and drive organic visibility, traffic, registrations, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SEO Strategy & Organic Growth

• Develop and execute SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, rankings, registrations, and revenue.
• Identify high-value search opportunities and prioritise growth initiatives.
• Monitor competitors, market trends, and organic performance.

2. Technical SEO & Website Optimisation

• Manage technical SEO, including crawling, indexing, redirects, canonicals, sitemaps, hreflang, Schema, and Core Web Vitals.
• Identify and resolve complex technical SEO issues.
• Collaborate with developers and agencies to implement and validate improvements.

3. Keyword Research & Content Strategy

• Conduct advanced keyword research and search-intent analysis.
• Develop keyword-to-URL mapping and content strategies.
• Improve topical authority, internal linking, and on-page SEO.
• Optimise, expand, consolidate, or remove existing content where required.

4. Authority Building & Competitor Analysis

• Develop link-building, digital PR, and authority-building strategies.
• Analyse competitor rankings, backlinks, and content strategies.
• Monitor backlink quality and identify opportunities to improve domain authority.

5. International & Emerging Search

• Drive SEO growth across multiple international markets.
• Explore AEO, GEO, and AI search optimisation opportunities.
• Experiment with emerging search trends and new organic acquisition strategies.

6. Performance & Stakeholder Management

• Track organic traffic, rankings, registrations, conversions, and revenue.
• Prepare SEO performance reports and actionable recommendations.
• Manage external SEO agencies, freelancers, developers, and content teams.
• Establish SEO processes and SOPs, with the potential to build and lead an internal SEO team.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 7+ years of hands-on SEO experience.
• Proven track record of growing organic traffic, rankings, and organic acquisition.
• Strong technical SEO expertise and experience with complex websites.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Search Console and GA4.
• Hands-on experience with Ahrefs and/or Semrush.
• Experience with Screaming Frog and technical SEO audits.
• Strong understanding of crawling, indexing, website architecture, and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience working directly with developers.
• Expertise in keyword research, search intent, content SEO, and competitor analysis.
• Experience in international SEO.
• Working knowledge of HTML and basic CSS/JavaScript.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently develop and execute SEO strategies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AEO, GEO, and AI search optimisation.
• Knowledge of Schema markup, hreflang, digital PR, and link acquisition.
• Experience in SEO algorithm recovery and experimentation.
• Experience managing external agencies and mentoring SEO professionals.
• Ability to translate SEO data into commercial growth strategies.
