Responsibilities

• Manage day to day front and back-of house restaurant operations
• Assist the Manager to streamline the daily operations
• Hiring and onboarding new staffs
• Train and manage new staffs, schedule staff shifts
• Ability to resolve conflicts calmly
• Appraising staff performance
• Ensuring hospitality and customer satisfaction
• Ability to professionally address customer complaints.
• Managing inventory for authentic indian spice mixes and other ingredients
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure authenticity of the food
• Able to help out on the kitchen line during emergency.
• Controlling operational costs and identifying ways to cut waste.
• Maintaining safety and food quality standards

Requirements

• Proven track record in the similar position in the F&B industry.
• Good knowledge of variety of indian cuisines, especially Chettinad non-veg varieties.
• Cooking experience is an additional advantage
• Courtesy and tact in dealing with customers and co-workers
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Available to work flexible hours, weekends and Public holidays.
• IT and accounting knowledge is a plus.
