Key responsibilities:

• Credit/KYC/sanctions assessments, vessel approvals; monitor counterparties & escalate complex cases.

• Track freight exposure, profitability & portfolio risks; run scenario/stress/Cash-at-Risk analysis.

• Build & maintain Portfolio Management System: data, models, calculations & forward curves.

• Reconcile physical/financial bunker exposure; resolve mismatches & improve tools.

• Prepare monthly/quarterly reports & Board-level decision materials.

• Lead cross-functional projects: risk, analytics, automation& system development.

• Manage relationships with credit/KYC/sanctions providers, brokers, banks, counterparties, data vendors & system suppliers.

Skills required:

• Analysis: Strong financial & credit analysis; KYC/sanctions & counterparty risk; portfolio & market-risk assessment; deep knowledge of financial derivatives.

• Reporting & Forecasting: Forecasting, management reporting & decision support

• Technical Proficiency: Python, SQL; advanced Excel, Power BI & PowerPoint; data analytics & system development.

• Judgment & Work Style: Commercial acumen, integrity & precision; decisive, independent &delivery-focused under pressure

• Communication & Influence: Clear communicator; constructive challenger; strong cross-functional &cross-cultural collaboration.

Qualification:

• A master’s degree in finance, economics, shipping, business, or another relevant quantitative or commercial discipline is required.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, risk management, or shipping industry roles.
