What Is the GMC Program?
The GMC Program is a structured management development journey designed to prepare you for future leadership roles.
As a GMC, you will:
Experience every aspect of store operations through immersive, hands-on learning.
Develop leadership and people management skills through real team responsibilities.
Participate in regular development reviews and promotion assessments.
Outstanding performers may have the opportunity to be promoted to Store Manager within 12 months.

Phase 1: Foundation
Becoming a GU Professional
Learn GU's values, culture, and business philosophy.
Master customer service excellence and store operations.
Develop strong product knowledge and operational fundamentals.
Phase 2: Leadership Development
Learning to Lead
Support team operations and coach new staff.
Analyze sales performance and top-selling products.
Develop communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Phase 3: Business Ownership
Driving Store Performance
Take ownership of daily business operations.
Plan and execute sales initiatives.
Manage designated operational areas independently.
Phase 4: Store Readiness
Preparing for Leadership
Take broader responsibility for store performance.
Support store management in driving sales, people, and operations.
Demonstrate readiness for future leadership opportunities.
Throughout the program, you will continuously build on previous learning experiences while developing the operational expertise, business acumen, and leadership capabilities required for future growth.

Are proactive team players with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Hold a university degree in any discipline.
Have less than 2 years of full-time working experience.
Are fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.

Company Information Session & HR Interview | October 2026 – February 2027
Store Experience | November 2026 – March 2027 (Completion of 60 working hours within 1–3 months is mandatory.)
Panel Interview | December 2026 – April 2027
Final Interview | April – May 2027
Program Commencement | Early July 2027
