Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of daily construction activities to ensure project progress aligns with the approved schedule.
Manage and coordinate site construction supervisors, plant and equipment supervisors, and site personnel to ensure efficient execution of works.
Plan, allocate, and monitor site resources while ensuring compliance with workplace safety requirements, statutory regulations, and project specifications.
Ensure all construction and equipment installation works are carried out in accordance with contract requirements, engineering standards, approved drawings, and applicable regulations.
Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and effective communication.
Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor work progress, quality standards, and compliance with safety requirements.
Identify potential project risks, technical issues, and site constraints, and implement appropriate mitigation measures to minimize delays and ensure timely project delivery.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering -Professional Engineer (PE) certification recognized by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore.
Min. 8 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years managing the construction of major building/s or bus depot projects or LTA projects.
Demonstrated experience in planning and executing complex construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
Familiarity with local construction codes and standards.
