Responsibilities
We are seeking a responsible and motivated
Assistant Supervisor
to support daily transportation, logistics, and manpower operations. The successful candidate will assist in supervising operational staff, coordinating vehicle movements, managing work schedules, and ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Transport Supervisor in overseeing daily freight transportation and logistics operations.
Coordinate vehicle schedules, delivery routes, and driver assignments to ensure timely completion of transportation activities.
Supervise drivers and operational staff to ensure work is performed efficiently and safely.
Assist in planning manpower deployment, duty rosters, attendance, and daily work assignments.
Monitor vehicle movements, delivery progress, and operational performance.
Liaise with drivers, customers, and management to resolve transport-related issues.
Assist in monitoring vehicle maintenance, servicing schedules, and transport documentation.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures, road transport regulations, and company policies.
Maintain daily operational records, staff attendance reports, delivery documents, and transport schedules.
Report operational issues, staff performance, and improvement recommendations to the Transport Supervisor and management.
Support manpower coordination and resource allocation according to operational requirements.
Assist in improving transport efficiency, service quality, and overall operational productivity.
