SEB Asia Limited Hiring! Full Time Shipping Planner in Hong Kong - Ricebowl

As part of Shipping Planning team, you’ll support transportation optimization and cost reductions through proactive, continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll also manage changes by collaborating with internal operations and external logistics partners, including suppliers and freight forwarders.

What’s in it for you:

• Analyze the result of the bulk plans (container loading plan) regularly to optimize the plans in view of market priorities and company objectives.

• Maintain accuracy of logistics data in system to ensure accurate loading plans.

• Validate the final loading plan. Be the key contact to communicate and drive the shipping instructions to suppliers and 3PL.

• With best cost option globally in mind, decide the option between direct shipment and CFS.

• Negotiate and control the accuracy of the extra-trucking fees if any.

• Identify potential improvements considering filing rate, cost, containers mix, bulk plan parameters. Identify top offenders and root cause analysis to build action plans.

What we are looking for:

• Diploma or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or relevant disciplines

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Supply Chain, Shipping & Logistics Operations or transportation field

• Solid experience in SAP/Oracle & Transportation Management System, with proficiency in MS Word and Excel

• Adaptable to change and flexible with good problem-solving skill

• Outstanding eyes for details and precision

• Strong in negotiation and able to influence stakeholders

• Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
