Role Description The Director of Market Intelligence is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, responsible for leading market and competitive intelligence efforts to guide brand and business strategy. This role oversees the design and execution of market research programs, including qualitative and quantitative studies, to understand customer behavior, emerging trends, and industry dynamics. The Director will synthesize complex data into clear insights, translate findings into actionable recommendations, and collaborate closely with strategy, creative, and client teams to shape positioning and market entry plans. Day-to-day activities include building and managing intelligence frameworks, tracking competitor moves, presenting insights to senior stakeholders, and mentoring team members to elevate analytical capabilities. The role requires strong leadership, the ability to influence decisions, and a passion for using data-driven insights to create differentiated brands.


Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in market-focused disciplines, including Market Intelligence, Market Analysis, and Market Research.
  • Demonstrated experience in Competitive Intelligence, with the ability to track, interpret, and respond to competitor activities.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills, including data synthesis, insight generation, and strategic interpretation of complex information.
  • Proven leadership experience in a senior insights, strategy, or market intelligence role, ideally within consulting, branding, or related fields.
  • Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to diverse stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.
  • Experience designing and managing research projects (qualitative and quantitative) and working with relevant tools and methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and mentor team members in analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Interest in behavioral science, neuroscience, or consumer psychology is highly beneficial.
