Summary::

As a Full stack Engineer, you will work as part of an integrated product squad to deliver prioritised CRs and enhancements from the product backlog.

You are expected to participate throughout the delivery lifecycle, from requirement and backlog refinement through technical solutioning, development, testing, cybersecurity assessment, deployment and post-release support (if required).

Full Stack Engineer shall work closely with the Product Owner/Product Lead, Tech Lead, users and relevant stakeholders, provide regular progress updates, demonstrate completed functionality where required, incorporate feedback and support iterative and incremental delivery.

Engineers may be assigned to different CRs/enhancements based on product priorities and demand. You are therefore expected to progressively build the technical competencies necessary to work across the applicable OASIS subsystems and components.

Job Responsibilities::

Perform end-to-end application development across the frontend, backend, integration, database/data and reporting layers, where applicable.

Participate in product squad sync-ups, backlog refinement, planning, progress reviews and technical discussions for assigned CRs/enhancements.

Participate in requirement refinement, impact assessment and technical solutioning with the Product Owner/Product Lead, Tech Lead and relevant stakeholders.

Develop, configure, unit test and integrate application changes in accordance with approved requirements, technical designs and engineering standards.

Develop and maintain application components, APIs/interfaces, database scripts, batch jobs and reports, where applicable.

Perform unit and integration testing and support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing and other applicable testing activities.

Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve defects identified during development and testing.

Support cybersecurity assessments, vulnerability remediation, security testing and closure of technical findings associated with the CRs/enhancements.

Support build, release and deployment activities, including preparation of deployment procedures/scripts, release verification, rollback procedures where applicable and post-deployment validation.

Support investigation and resolution of production issues relating to delivered CRs/enhancements.

Develop automated tests and improve engineering and testing practices where appropriate.

Maintain relevant technical documentation and artefacts, including technical designs, database/interface changes, configuration changes, source code documentation, build/deployment procedures and implementation records.

Contribute to system knowledge building and knowledge sharing within the product squad.

Work with architecture, platform, infrastructure, database, integration and cybersecurity teams to resolve technical dependencies and issues.

Support knowledge transfer and handover of completed CRs/enhancements to the relevant maintenance/O&S team, where required.

Be willing and able to acquire additional technical competencies required to support CRs/enhancement across OASIS application landscape.

Understand and maintain knowledge of the applications’ architecture, components, interfaces, data flows, batch jobs and technical dependencies.

Work with the Tech Lead to perform technical solutioning and translate prioritised product backlog items, change requests and enhancements into implementable technical designs.

Work with the Tech Lead to establish and apply appropriate engineering standards, coding practices, design patterns and development practices.

Work with the Tech Lead to review technical designs, source code, database and integration changes, and ensure that the implemented solutions meet the required quality, security, performance and maintainability standards.

Work with the Tech Lead to assess the technical impact of CRs/enhancements, including impacts to upstream/downstream systems, interfaces, databases, batch jobs, infrastructure and other technical dependencies.

Assist Tech Lead to guide Associate Full Stack Developers in application development and resolution of complex technical issues.

Lead the investigation and resolution of complex application defects and technical issues arising during development, testing, deployment and post-deployment.

Work with the Tech Lead to identify and address technical debt, vulnerabilities, performance issues and technology lifecycle/EOSL considerations.

Support release and deployment planning, including identification of technical dependencies, deployment sequencing, rollback requirements and post-deployment verification.

Build, document and share application and system knowledge across the product squad together with the Tech Lead.

Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, including development, automated testing, code quality, CI/CD and deployment processes, where applicable.

Qualifications::

At least Five (5) years of relevant experience in application development and implementation of change requests and/or enhancements for the projects.
