Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
Source and assess suppliers and vendors, and request and compare quotations
Prepare detailed cost analyses and product cost breakdowns
Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules
Monitor material costs and identify opportunities for cost savings
Maintain supplier relationships and performance records
Support procurement, budgeting and inventory planning initiatives
Ensure compliance with sourcing and purchasing policies
Work closely with Engineering, Production, Planning and Sales teams to meet project requirements
Job Requirements
Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent
2 years of experience in costing, sourcing, procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing environment
Proven experience in sourcing precision machining or sheet metal parts
Strong knowledge of BOM (Bill of Materials) costing and product cost analysis
Familiar with RFQ/RFP processes, supplier selection and vendor management
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems
Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
