Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QS experience in the construction industry
• Experience in commercial building projects is an advantage.
• Familiar with construction materials, inspection procedures and quality standards.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Good documentation, reporting and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and conduct site inspections.
• Must possess a valid driving licence and be willing to travel to project sites.
• CIDB Green Card certification will be an advantage.

You will own project quality, making sure works follow approved drawings, specifications and quality standards, from material inspection through to handover.

• Develop, implement and maintain project Quantity Survey procedures.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, technical specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks at different stages of construction.
• Inspect construction materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), inspection reports and quality records.
• Identify, report and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and site teams on quality-related matters.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure quality issues are resolved.
• Assist in preparing project handover documentation and final quality reports.
• Manage and lead a team of quantity surveyors, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
• Measure quantities and verify subcontractor claims and payments.
• Ensure all contractual and commercial matters are properly managed.
• Maintain accurate project costing records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and contractual requirements.
