We are partnering with a global Life Sciences MNC specialising in providing scientific testing, laboratory services, and microbiological solutions to customers across the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, and Biotechnology industries. With an established international presence and strong technical capabilities, the organisation supports manufacturers in ensuring product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. They are now looking for an experienced Regional Account Manager to drive commercial growth across Singapore and Malaysia.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Regional Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, business development, and key account management across Singapore and Malaysia, with a focus on Microbial Testing & Laboratory Solutions. You will develop and execute sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and strengthen relationships with customers across Pharmaceutical & Medical Device Manufacturing, and R&D facilities.

As a hands-on commercial leader, you will also manage and coach 1 team member based in Malaysia, providing sales direction, conducting joint customer visits, and supporting territory planning and business development activities. You will oversee sales forecasting, pricing strategies, account planning, and commercial performance, while working closely with internal technical specialists to deliver solutions that meet customers' testing and quality requirements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is someone with minimum 6 years of Sales, Business Development, and/or Account Management experience within the Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, or Laboratory Solutions sectors. You will need to have a strong network of customers within Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device Manufacturing, with a proven track record in developing key accounts and achieving sales targets.

Having product knowledge in Microbiology, Endotoxin Testing, Microbial Identification, and/or Rapid Microbial Detection will be a strong advantage, although candidates with established customer networks in relevant manufacturing environments will also be considered. Having some regional sales exposure covering Singapore & Malaysia will be preferred.
