Job Description: Cloud FinOps Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud expenditure across AWS, Microsoft, VMware, software licenses, and subscriptions.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through resource optimization and license consolidation.
• Track cloud usage, billing, budgets, forecasts, and cost allocation.
• Develop cost dashboards and financial reports using Power BI and advanced Excel.
• Analyze spending trends and recommend cost optimization strategies.
• Support procurement activities, RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, vendor management, and enterprise agreements.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Finance, Engineering, and Procurement teams to improve cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Cloud FinOps, cloud operations, or technology cost optimization.
• Strong knowledge of AWS pricing, Reserved Instances, and Savings Plans.
• Experience with Power BI, advanced Excel, financial reporting, and forecasting.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, software licensing, procurement, and financial governance.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Financial services experience is an advantage.
