Key Responsibilities

Network Management

• Design, implement, and manage network configurations to ensure connectivity and data integrity.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network infrastructure for maximum efficiency.
• Security and Compliance
• Implement security measures to safeguard systems and data against unauthorized access, attacks, and breaches.
• Stay updated with security best practices and industry standards to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

System Monitoring and Maintenance

• Develop and implement system monitoring protocols to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups, updates, and patches, to ensure system reliability and security.
• Collaboration and Documentation
• Collaborate with software developers and other IT professionals to integrate systems and resolve issues.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Troubleshooting and Support

• Respond to system-related issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff as required.

Performance Optimization

• Analyze system performance data, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system components for better efficiency.
• Recommend upgrades and enhancements to improve system performance and user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in system engineering, network design, and implementation.
• Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux), virtualization technologies, and network protocols.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network security principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are advantageous.
