Position Overview:
Clifford Capital Asset Management (“CCAM”) is a new line of business that was established in December 2024. CCAM is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (the “MAS”) and holds a Capital Market Service License to conduct fund management activities for accredited and institutional investors. CCAM will focus on launching mandates as well as collective investment schemes. CCAM products are expected to invest in range of credit instruments including but not limited to senior credit, subordinated debt/high yield as well as hybrid instruments representing debt financing.

Primary Responsibilities:
Work closely with origination, corporate coverage and investor coverage teams to source, assess and execute infrastructure credit investment opportunities across CCAM-managed pools of capital

Lead credit due diligence, investment analysis, financial modelling, structuring assessment and risk evaluation for primary and secondary market opportunities

Build and maintain relationships with banks, sponsors, intermediaries, investors and other market participants to strengthen CCAM’s market presence and access to investment opportunities

Prepare and present investment recommendations, credit papers and portfolio updates to CCAM’s Investment Committee, senior management and relevant governance forums

Drive the internal credit application and approval process, coordinating inputs from origination, risk, legal, operations and other relevant stakeholders

Undertake upfront and ongoing relative value analysis, portfolio monitoring, asset performance review and portfolio management activities across relevant mandates and funds

Support investor marketing, fundraising and due diligence processes by providing investment insights, portfolio information and market perspectives as required

Act as deal captain for selected transactions, providing end-to-end transaction leadership and, over time, supervising and mentoring junior investment team members

Professional Experience / Qualifications:
At least 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure credit, private credit, project finance, leveraged finance, structured finance, asset management or a related investment role within a financial institution or investment platform

Strong academic background, with demonstrated investment judgement and experience in credit analysis, investment structuring, financial modelling and investment committee processes

Strong understanding of infrastructure, private credit and APAC markets; experience across global infrastructure debt markets or cross-border transactions would be advantageous

Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and portfolio priorities independently, with strong execution discipline, commercial judgement and attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the maturity and credibility to engage senior management, investment committees, investors, counterparties and external advisers

Business-level Japanese language skills are advantageous for engaging with Japanese investors and counterparties
