Job Summary

You will operate and monitor water and wastewater treatment systems, conduct inspections, perform sampling and testing, maintain equipment, and report faults to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water and wastewater treatment systems to maintain optimal performance
• Conduct plant inspections and accurately record operating readings for system tracking
• Perform water sampling and conduct basic testing to assess water quality
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues to minimize downtime
• Report equipment faults and abnormal operating conditions promptly to supervisors
• Follow all safety and environmental procedures to maintain a safe workplace

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, utilities, or plant operations
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and standby after hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Responsible, hands-on attitude with eagerness to learn
