Job Overall

Manage daily operations and overall electrical system and equipment of a building, regular maintenance to ensure undisrupted power supply and lead maintenance team in organizing pro-active maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to relevant Authorities compliance standards covering Safety & Health, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, Bomba, DOE, Jabatan Keselamatan dan Kesihatan Pekerja (JKKP) and other regulatory governing bodies.
• Plan and implement effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all electrical services.
• Ensure preventive maintenance activities being carried out as per schedule.
• Attend to all power and electrical breakdown, perform troubleshooting and recommend rectification.
• Liaise and maintain good rapport with government statutory bodies.
• Conduct regular inspections on all major M&E plant rooms and to check on the operating condition of the equipments.
• Conduct periodic tests on the Fire-Protection System is in sound operating conditions at all times.
• Coordinate with electrical consultant and supervising engineer on monthly inspection and carry out recommendation for improvement.
• Implement energy saving measures and initiates steps to lower utility consumption.
• Prepare M&E operational report for weekly reporting to management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must possess Chargeman A4 certification with Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
• At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in handling low voltage of electrical system equipment.
• Hands on experience and knowledge in electrical systems, safety regulations and industry standard.
• Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
