The Opportunity

• Adecco is partnering with an Investment Holding to hire a Group Accountant with experience in full sets of accounts and financial reporting.
• Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of core accounting and financial reporting activities while gaining exposure to tax matters, financing analysis and cross-border financial operations.

The Job

• Oversee the full spectrum of accounting activities for assigned entities, including accounts payable, transaction processing and maintenance of accurate financial records.
• Drive monthly and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely preparation of financial statements, management reports and financial analyses.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal financial policies and statutory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings and regulatory reporting, working closely with auditors, tax advisers and other external stakeholders.
• Support finance-related initiatives, including tax planning and optimisation, financing analysis, process improvements and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or possesses relevant professional certifications - ACCA/CA/CPA.
• Over 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards, statutory compliance, audit requirements and corporate tax matters.
• Meticulous, self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different jurisdictions.
