Role Description The Logistics Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Malaysia, responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant movement and storage of materials. Day-to-day tasks include planning and coordinating transportation schedules, managing warehouse and inventory activities, and optimizing routing and distribution to meet service-level and cost objectives. The role involves collaborating with operations, procurement, and customer service teams to align logistics plans with waste management and recovery processes, while maintaining regulatory and environmental compliance. The Logistics Manager will monitor performance metrics, manage relationships with carriers and suppliers, resolve operational issues, and implement process improvements to support the company’s sustainability and circular economy goals.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management skills to oversee transportation, warehousing, and end-to-end material flows.
• Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills to maintain accurate stock records, manage storage capacity, and support efficient recovery and distribution operations.
• Candidates should possess Procurement skills to coordinate sourcing, negotiate with vendors, and manage contracts related to logistics and waste management services.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle client inquiries, coordinate service delivery, and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
• Relevant experience in industrial, environmental, or waste management logistics operations is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to use logistics and inventory systems effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• A diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and sustainability practices in logistics is an advantage.
