Role Description The Business Development Partner is a full-time, hybrid role based in Johore, Malaysia, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and nurturing relationships with clients and stakeholders in the AI and digital transformation space. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, preparing proposals, coordinating client meetings and presentations, and collaborating with internal teams to align solutions with client needs. The Business Development Partner will actively participate in AI training and consulting engagements, support project planning and execution, and contribute to revenue growth and brand visibility. The role also involves representing SOVA at events and conferences, and providing ongoing feedback to help refine services and offerings.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Sales and business development, with the ability to identify, pursue, and close opportunities.
• Background in Consulting and client engagement, including understanding of AI, digital transformation, or technology solutions.
• Strong Project Management skills for coordinating proposals, initiatives, and multi-stakeholder activities.
• Experience in Training and Leadership Development, particularly in professional or corporate learning environments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
• Ability to operate in a hybrid work setting, managing responsibilities both onsite in Johore and remotely.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with AI, data analytics, or digital transformation concepts; experience within the Malaysian or regional market is an advantage.
