Job Description:

• Assist the Reservation Manager in planning, coordinating and controlling room reservations in the hotel.
• Handle tour groups/ad-hoc groups and convention bookings.
• Ensure proper filing and recording of all correspondence pertaining to contracts established by the Sales & Marketing Department with corporate companies, Travel Agents and Airlines.
• Ensure that all daily transactions are keyed into the HRM System and updated immediately.
• Check correspondences pertaining to room reservation and process accordingly into the HRM System.
• Handle all incoming emails for reservations and highlights the important requirements and information before passing on to the Front Desk staff and Reservation Agent for processing.
• Attend to all replies for emails and faxes with regard to room reservations.
• To ensure all daily received bookings are keyed into the HRM System so that the room occupancy is accurate.
• Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the Management.

Requirement:

• Possess at least a Professional Certificate/Higher NITEC in Hospitality Operations or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in related field
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Hotel systems
• Strong ability to work independently as well as a team player
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Work well under pressure
• May be required to work nights, weekends and public holidays
