Role Purpose

The Regional Finance Manager, APAC and ME, is responsible for overseeing regional financial consolidation and reporting for 18 APAC countries, ensuring compliance with Group and IFRS standards. The role provides expert financial analysis, technical accounting guidance, and internal control oversight. It supports accurate and timely reporting, budget processes, and risk management, partnering with country finance teams to drive alignment, transparency, and business performance across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly group consolidation for 18 APAC countries, ensuring timely and accurate submission into Group reporting systems.

• Conduct variance analysis vs budget, forecast, and prior year, and produce executive-ready commentaries highlighting key business drivers.

• Review and validate the APAC management reporting pack, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and consistency with Group requirements.

• Ensure IFRS-aligned Group accounting policies are implemented consistently across all APAC entities. Provide technical accounting guidance to country finance teams.

• Review Balance Sheet schedules across the region, ensuring proper reconciliation and compliance with internal control requirements.

• Monitor and manage financial and accounting risks, including aged items, exposure areas, and internal control gaps; partner with countries to implement remediation actions

• Support the annual budget process, ensuring accurate consolidation of APAC submissions and alignment of assumptions with historical trends and Group guidelines

• Work closely with business to deliver ad-hoc financial reporting and execute assigned tasks as required

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accountancy or relevant subjects

• CPA qualification is preferable

• Familiar with IFRS standards

• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience, preferably in logistics / freight forwarding industry

• Strong analytical skills and business acumen

• Hands-on experience in management reporting

• Regional exposure and / or MNC experience a definite advantage

• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Mandarin

• Superb communication skills, culturally sensitive

• High proficiency in Excel skill set

• Good working knowledge of other MS Office tools (MS Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Power BI)
