About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Aviation Operations Manager to oversee operational activities, coordinate resources, and support safe, efficient, and reliable aviation operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams, management, service providers, and relevant stakeholders to maintain operational standards, improve efficiency, manage risks, and ensure compliance with applicable aviation regulations and company procedures.

This position requires strong leadership, operational planning, problem-solving, and communication skills, together with a commitment to safety, service quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily aviation operational activities and ensure operations are conducted in accordance with approved procedures and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate operational schedules, personnel, equipment, and other resources to support efficient service delivery.
• Monitor operational performance, identify service issues, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Work with relevant departments, ground-handling teams, service providers, and other stakeholders to coordinate operational requirements.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures, work instructions, and reporting processes.
• Monitor operational risks, support safety management activities, and promote a strong safety culture.
• Coordinate incident reporting, operational investigations, and follow-up actions in accordance with company procedures.
• Review operational data and performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage operational budgets, resource allocation, and expenditure within approved limits.
• Support staff planning, training coordination, performance management, and professional development.
• Ensure operational records, reports, and documentation are maintained accurately.
• Liaise with relevant aviation authorities and external stakeholders when required by the scope of the role.
• Support business continuity planning, operational readiness, and contingency arrangements.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Airport Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Relevant experience in aviation operations, airport operations, airline operations, ground handling, or a related operational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate teams, manage operational priorities, and resolve issues effectively.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of operational risk management, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance relevant to the position.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prepare operational reports, review performance indicators, and recommend improvements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant operational management systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and external service providers.

Experience managing operational teams, coordinating aviation service providers, or implementing operational improvement initiatives is an advantage.

Candidates must hold any licences, approvals, or qualifications specifically required for the duties they will perform.

Compensation and Employment Details

The monthly salary range for this position is SGD [Actual Minimum]–[Actual Maximum], depending on relevant qualifications and experience.
