Role Overview

We are seeking a FinTech Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for bridging business requirements and technical delivery across our digital payment products, ensuring that our solutions meet both commercial objectives and the regulatory standards expected of a licensed payments institution in Singapore.

This role is suited for a professional with prior hands-on experience in the FinTech or payments domain who can operate effectively across product, compliance, and engineering stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Product & Solution Delivery: Translate business requirements into functional specifications for payment products, including cross-border transfers, multi-currency wallets, and merchant settlement flows.
• Regulatory & Compliance Alignment: Work closely with the compliance team to ensure product features and operational processes align with MAS payment services regulations and applicable AML/CFT requirements.
• Technical Liaison: Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, supporting API integration discussions, UAT planning, and production issue triage.
• Process Optimisation: Identify operational bottlenecks in payment processing and reconciliation workflows, and propose technology-driven improvements.
• Vendor & Partner Coordination: Support the evaluation and integration of third-party payment rails, banking partners, and technology vendors.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and current product documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and operational runbooks.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in FinTech, digital payments, or financial technology product/operations roles. Experience with a licensed payments institution or MAS-regulated environment is advantageous.
• Domain Knowledge: Working understanding of payment rails (FAST, GIRO, SWIFT, card schemes), API-based integrations, and the Singapore payments regulatory landscape.
• Technical Fluency: Ability to read and discuss API documentation, data flows, and system architecture with engineering teams. Proficiency in SQL or basic scripting is a plus.
• Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong problem-solving ability and the capacity to communicate complex requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in English.
• Attributes: High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
