Job Responsibilities:-

Study and transfer new products/parts to production lines from design stage.

Improve the productivity, value analysis (VA) and quality of new products.

New sourcing for components or raw materials for R&D purpose as well as support purchasing team

To develop product specification for quality control purpose.

Issue TRF to commence the testing of the mould, if required.

Provide production technical support with product assembly, quality issues, and production testing.

To create SOP for production product assembly and testing.

Study existing product in production to improve process ability using DFM.

Perform the investigation in quality related complaints from customer on products and propose necessary corrective and preventive actions on the products where necessary.

Create new bill of Material (BOM) or amend the existing Bill of Material due to variant where necessary.

Participate in external certifications and audits, example NSF and TUV.

Execute new product introduction which includes pre-production, process execution, product specification, quality control, process development and determine jig/fixtures/tooling requirements

Job requirements:-

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering

In depth knowledge in Research & Development Methodologies. and plastic injection related field.

Strong team player and able to work with least supervison

4-5 years in project handling. Experience in pump industry will be added advantages.

Skill : AutoCad, Pro-E/Creo, MS Office

Job description: -

Provide technical supports on chemicals and chemical products for various aspects of water treatment, particularly in water sanitation to customers.

Carry out R&D, conducting trials on new and current chemical products related to water treatment. Collaborate with independent lab or institution in joint-research.

Support production and quality control of chemical line and chemical products on technical aspects.

Project management of chemicals products including introduction, implementation, Bill of Material, production process and technical specification.

Requirements:-

Minimum 3 years work experience in water treatment industries or laboratory.

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Science

Good command of English to communicate in international work environment.

Ideal candidate profile:-

The "Inventor" Mindset: We want someone with a track record of creating products. If you have patents or have successfully launched products in the market, we want to talk to you.

Broad Chemical Knowledge: Strong background in inorganic and organic chemistry. Experience in Water Treatment is preferred, but we are open to brilliant chemists from FMCG, agriculture, or pharmaceutical backgrounds who can apply their skills to water.

Education: BSc, MSc, or PhD in Chemistry.

Knowledge of Australian (APVMA) or Asian (SPAN/Halal) regulatory landscapes is a distinct advantage, but not a dealbreaker. We can teach the regulations; we can't teach creativity.

Core responsibilities: -

A. Innovation & Formulation (80%)

New Product Development: conceptualize and formulate new chemical products from scratch. We want "outside the box" thinking—bringing ideas from other industries (e.g., food science, agriculture) into water treatment.

Performance Optimization: Take our existing formulas and make them better—more stable, more concentrated, or more cost-effective.

Broad Application Research: You will not just be looking at swimming pools. You will explore applications in industrial wastewater, cooling towers, and agriculture.

Collaboration: Work with our Chemical Engineer to ensure your lab inventions can actually be manufactured at scale.

B. Regulatory & Compliance (20%)

While not the primary focus, the ability to support commercialisation is valuable.

Assist in preparing technical data for product registrations (local and international).

Ensure formulations are designed with global safety standards (GHS/SDS) in mind

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
