About the Role

Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and service-oriented Host / Service Crew to provide a welcoming dining experience, particularly for Mandarin-speaking guests from China. The role involves greeting guests, managing seating, taking orders, providing menu recommendations and ensuring smooth service throughout the guest’s dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival.
• Assist Mandarin-speaking guests with seating, menu explanations, and basic enquiries.
• Communicate with guests in Mandarin to ensure clear understanding.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and provide recommendations when required.
• Ensure guests receive attentive, friendly and professional service.
• Handle guest requests, feedback and basic complaints professionally.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure orders are served accurately and promptly.
• Support the team during busy periods, group bookings, and tourist group arrivals.
• Maintain a professional appearance and comply with restaurant grooming and service standards.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Supervisor.

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in F&B, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin and English; other languages are an added advantage.
• Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable serving international guests, particularly Mandarin-speaking customers.
• Customer-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Fresh graduates with good Mandarin communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Pay range and compensation package

RM2,800 - RM3,500
