Responsibilities
About the job:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and month-end closing.
Responsible for preparing monthly financial statements, regular forecasts, annual budgets, and other management reports as requested, including financial analysis, costing, budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance matters.
Coordinate annual statutory audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate internal financial KPIs and reporting consolidation to ensure accurate financial results are delivered to the company.
Review, improve, and execute internal control procedures and workflow design to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Proactively identify cost optimisation opportunities and work with management teams to implement coordinated programmes that drive sustainable cost improvements with a clear impact on the bottom line.
Handle and participate in ad-hoc assignments as required.
About the people:
Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines with related professional accounting qualifications such as HKICPA, ACCA, CFA, etc
At least 10 years relevant experiences
Experienced in a Senior Finance Manager role in any listed firm or FMCG firm is a plus
Have proven leadership managing a team
Strong business sense, demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and across functional groups
Detail-minded, strong organizational skills, hardworking, self-motivated
Able to work independently under pressure and stress timeline
Proficiency in use of computer systems including MS office
A self-starter and problem solver
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Good command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin
