Purchasing & Planning Executive

What you'll do

Purchasing

• Source suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms and contracts for cost-effective, on-time supply
• Issue POs and process goods receiving
• Resolve issues with supplier with regards to quality, delivery or pricing
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including POs, contracts and supplier performance reports

Planning & Inventory

• Prepare work orders for in-house production
• Plan material requirements for production and trading, based on firm orders and forecasts
• Monitor inventory movement and prepare monthly stock reviews
• Work with Sales, Logistics and Operations to keep procurement and production running smoothly

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related field
• At least 2 years' experience in purchasing, procurement, planning or operations, ideally in manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with an ERP system
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (lookups, pivot tables); Word is also used
