Job Description

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Java Application Developer to join the technology team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

You will work on business-critical applications that require high performance, scalability, security, and 24/7 availability. The role involves developing new features, enhancing existing applications, resolving production issues, and collaborating closely with both technical and business stakeholders.

Experience in payment processing, banking, fintech, or other high-volume transaction environments will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Design and develop REST APIs, integrations, and reusable components.
  • Work with databases and messaging systems.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support.
  • Develop unit and integration tests and participate in UAT.
  • Contribute to technical design, documentation, and code reviews.
  • Support application deployment and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Java application development experience.
  • Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with MySQL, REST APIs, and messaging technologies.
  • Experience with Linux/Red Hat, Git, Jenkins, and JIRA.
  • Exposure to AWS/cloud environments.
  • Experience supporting high-availability or enterprise applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in payment, banking, or fintech systems.
  • Knowledge of cryptography, security, or transaction processing.
  • Experience with microservices, distributed systems, or high-volume applications.
  • Experience with 24/7 production environments.

Pay: From $4,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
