Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage contract administration, variation works and commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Source suppliers and sub-contractors to obtain competitive quotations and manage tender processes for construction projects
- Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, tender submissions and contractual documentation.
- Manage project cost control, subcontract administration, progress claims and final accounts.
- Evaluate subcontractors' payment claims and variation submissions.
- Prepare and submit variation orders, progress claims and final accounts.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), carry out measurements, and compile progress claims to support cost tracking and reporting
- Work closely with the Project Manager on additional project-related tasks to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams on contractual and commercial matters.
- Support procurement and administration of subcontract packages.
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Studies or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying within the building construction industry.
- Experience with a Main Contractor will be highly advantageous.
- Experience on Residential, Commercial building developments will be advantageous.
- Good knowledge of contract administration, cost control, variations, subcontract management, CAD software, BIM, and MS Office applications.
