Salary: RM 8,000–10,000 per month

Job Summary

The Storage Engineer will manage enterprise storage infrastructure and ensure reliable data access, optimal storage performance, capacity availability, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SAN, NAS, and enterprise storage systems.
• Configure storage provisioning, volumes, LUNs, and access policies.
• Monitor storage utilization, performance, and capacity trends.
• Troubleshoot storage connectivity, latency, and availability issues.
• Support storage migrations, upgrades, and firmware maintenance.
• Coordinate with server, virtualization, network, and backup teams.
• Support replication, data protection, and disaster recovery operations.
• Maintain storage documentation, configuration records, and operational reports.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with enterprise storage platforms.
• Knowledge of SAN/NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, RAID, and storage protocols.
• Understanding of storage connectivity and virtualization environments.
• Familiarity with replication, backup, and disaster recovery technologies.
• Experience in infrastructure incident management and troubleshooting.
• Relevant storage vendor certifications are an advantage.
