Position: IT Operations Lead


We are looking for an experienced and hands-on IT Operations Lead to oversee and manage our organisation’s IT operations. This role is ideal for a proactive and adaptable IT professional who is comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on technical responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee day-to-day IT operations, including hardware, software, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
  • Manage and maintain the organisation’s IT systems, infrastructure, and technology resources.
  • Oversee software and firmware development activities and provide technical direction where required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, systems, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and guide a small IT team, providing technical direction, support, and mentorship.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives, system security, access management, and risk mitigation.
  • Participate actively in technical projects and day-to-day IT activities when required.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure effective delivery of IT services.
  • Plan and support future IT infrastructure and technology requirements.

  • What We’re Looking For
    • 10+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, systems administration, software development, or a related field.
    • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, hardware, and software systems.
    • Experience in software and/or firmware development is highly desirable.
    • Proven experience leading or managing a small IT team.
    • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • A proactive, adaptable, and hands-on approach to IT operations.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical execution.
