Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or similar, or equivalent hands-on experience.

0–2 years in DevOps, SRE, system administration or software engineering. Fresh graduates with strong projects or internships are welcome.

Solid Linux fundamentals and confidence on the command line.

Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP or Azure).

Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD concepts.

Familiarity with Docker; Kubernetes exposure is a plus.

Scripting ability in Bash and/or Python.

Understanding of networking basics: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, load balancing.

Exposure to Terraform, Ansible or other IaC/configuration tools is a plus.

Cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect Associate, CKA) are a bonus.

Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn quickly.

Good communication in English; Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is an advantage.

Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) for automated builds, tests and deployments.

Provision and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure) using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Containerise applications with Docker and help run workloads on Kubernetes or managed container services.

Set up and maintain monitoring, logging and alerting (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch) to keep systems healthy.

Take part in incident response and troubleshooting, and help write post-incident reviews.

Administer Linux servers: patching, configuration, user access and performance tuning.

Automate repetitive operational tasks with scripts (Bash, Python).

Apply security best practices such as IAM least privilege, secrets management, vulnerability scanning and backups.

Manage networking basics: DNS, load balancers, VPCs, firewalls and SSL certificates.

Keep infrastructure documentation and runbooks up to date.

Work closely with developers to improve release speed, reliability and developer experience.
